Therapy is an investment in time and money, but one in which the benefits will repay you if you accomplish your goals for therapy. I value your time, our time, and the services I have to offer, and charge accordingly.

Research indicates that, in general, evidence-based treatments can provide positive outcomes in less time than unstructured talk therapy. I believe that my training and experience in evidence-based treatments do help me provide effective and efficient services for clients.

The services I provide helps folks with their mental health distress, substance use problems, professional stress, relationship struggles, and academic underachieving. My clients are proof that the investment they put into therapy more than pays for itself when it comes to quality of life.

I am a private pay practice and am not in-network with any insurance companies.

Most private health insurance plans provide some level of out-of-network reimbursement. If you see the terms, “POS,” “PPO,” “Tricare,” or “out-of-network” on your insurance card then you are likely eligible. If you see “HMO,” “Medicare,” or “Medicaid” on your card than you probably do not.

Check with your insurance company or human resources representative to be sure. If you have a health savings account (HSA) plan, you may also be able to submit expenses that are not covered for reimbursement there.

If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I do provide the necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance company. Through your online portal, you will receive an invoice each session and a monthly superbill that includes all information necessary for you to file for reimbursement.

As a solo practitioner in private practice, I am not able to support those who need after-hours care or crisis services. I will not be a good fit for you if you need this level of care.

If you are in crisis:

please go to your local emergency room,

call 911, or

the Mobile Crisis Line (Matrix) at 704-566-3410 (if appropriate)

If you or someone you know is at risk or contemplating suicide, seek help as soon as possible by contacting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK.
